Bean bag sailing -Figueira da Foz to Lisbon- 12/4/22

Getting stuck in unknown places is one of the things that I love about our life and sailing. With no base to our thinking, Figueira da Foz was the last place we wanted to be stuck in for a few days. However, as we lovingly nicknamed it, Fig da Foz grew on us in the few short days there. Who knew salt pools could be so cool?! We got to go on a little walk on a beautiful day, and we both saw flamingos in the wild for the first time.

However, as soon as the light changed and said we could leave the harbor, we were gone. Getting to Lisbon means one step closer to the Canaries, but it's also where our new wind vane will be delivered. Mads is eager to get it installed, and I am keen to see how this mysterious Estonia wind vane turns out. More on that in the next episode ;)
