We are Mads and Ava, a DIY couple sanding and sailing our way around the world. 

What started in 2014 as a solo dream and a 1973 Albin Ballad has evolved into a global expedition. After documenting over 600 videos and building a community of over 150,000 subscribers, the dream became a reality. Together, we’ve sailed from Denmark to the Caribbean, crossed the Atlantic, and explored over 22 countries aboard our Warrior 38, Athena.

But the horizon is always moving.

We’ve recently turned the page to our biggest challenge yet: Project Antares. We are currently in Oriental, North Carolina, breathing life back into a hurricane-damaged 2005 44ft PDQ Antares. We aren't experts—we're just two people with a shared desire to get out of our comfort zones, learn from our mistakes, and live a life far from ordinary. From the North Sea to the Carolina coast, we’re still sanding, still sailing, and still chasing the dream.
