San Simón Island and the slightly cursed anchorage-11/20/22

It is now week two in our little anchorage up Ria de Vigo. It has been such a lovely time hiding from the southerlies, but we are getting the itch to get going. Not to mention it could be better for when we need to make more water. The anchorage doesn't have the cleanest water, and we want to wear the watermaker membranes sparingly. To make water, we had to motor down the ria and back.

We finally got approved to head to San Simon, a little island in the center of the anchorage. I was particularly excited because I'd been reading about it all week, and it's filled with a ton of history. Plus, it looks like a little ghost island and that's always cool ;)
